Today we went through the lower part of Custer State Park down to the Wild Horse Sanctuary below Hot Springs SD. Wow! Saw some deer, prairie dogs and lots of buffalo. They were in the middle of the road, stopping us.. So neat. The countryside is big and vast. The weather hot,..around 90 degrees today. Went on the Wild Horse Sanctuary tour. Saw where Dalton keeps them in his great ranch. Hidalgo was filmed there. He also allows the Indians to have their holy ceremonies on the land. Saw and touched wild horses, Indian hieroglyphics, and just big beautiful country.
