Badlands of South Dakota
Oh my! We traveled on Friday 11 May through the plains of South Dakota. Lots of farmland and lots of wind, which is the norm for this part of the country. Got a little cold for us Floridians! Arrived in the badlands and WOW! Stopped at a KOA in Interior, SD. So glad we did. We were there! Had to go through the most beautiful part of the badlands to get to the KOA, and then the evening sunsets...nice.The KOA was a sweet family run place which was especially pet friendly! The dog run outside our door was sweet. Kahlua loves Frisbee, so she was delighted. Spent the next day 12 May, driving and walking the Badlands of SD. Truly awesome..took my breath away. A Holy experience. God created such a beautiful country and landscape, I am totally in awe. Left today 13 May for 15 Miles south of Rapid City, SD to discover the southern portion of the parks.
