The spirit of San Francisco
Had another busy day sightseeing Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. We left early this morning, but traffic into town took us 3 hours in and 1 1/2 hours out. Alcatraz is booked weeks in advance so we were unable to visit the prison. We walked the wharf and ate a wonderful lunch at Forrest Gump's place. Saw some windmill farms on the road in. Could only see the top of the Golden Gate Bridge due to fog on the bay. Surprisingly the weather was cool in the 70's, compared to 100's in Lodi.
